Danish Days take place at DTU Risø Campus, which is situated about 6 km outside of the city of Roskilde.
Getting There
By plane: Getting to Copenhagen by plane goes via Copenhagen Airport (CPH). From the airport to Roskilde there are several options:
Public transport to Roskilde Central Station
Regional trains leave from the airport (CPH) from platform 2 to Roskilde Station possibly with a connection at Copenhagen Central Station.
Frequency is every 10 minutes during the day. Tickets have to be bought before entering the train. There is a ticket office on the ground level of the airport before going down to the tracks and ticket vending machines in the same location. To get to Roskilde you need "All Zones" which costs DKK 92. The trip to Roskilde Station takes about 45 minutes. Public transport to DTU Risø Campus
Busses going to DTU Risø Campus are located next to Roskilde Station. Bus numbers 600S and 216: from Roskilde Station - Risø, departures 3-4 times an hour, travelling time approx. 15 minutes. Price: DKK 24 (EUR 3.25)

Taxis leave from outside the arrival terminal (Terminal 2). A trip to central Copenhagen takes 20 - 30 minutes depending on traffic and costs approx. DKK 250-300 (EUR 33-41). Payment is possible with international credit cards or cash in DKK.
By car
From Copenhagen Airport to DTU Risø Campus. Distance 50 km, 40-50 minutes.
Follow urban ring 3. Change lane to enter highway 21 towards Sj. Odde and Roskilde. Stay on highway 21 for about 22 km. Take exit no. 10 (Roskilde Ø, Hillerød) and continue for 1 km. Turn right and follow road 6 north towards Hillerød. After about 8 km you will reach DTU Risø Campus. The GPS address is Frederiksborgvej 399, 4000 Roskilde
From Copenhagen Central Station to DTU Risø Campus. Distance: 38 km, 40 minutes.
Follow Vesterbrogade (direction west) for about 2 km. Continue straight ahead on Roskildevej, road 156, for about 27 km.Upon entering Roskilde you will pass under a highway. Continue for another 1 km and then turn right and follow road 6 north towards Hillerød. After about 8 km you will reach DTU Risø Campus.
